Water purification speed

This parameter characterizes, how well filtering element removes impurities from water. In other words, how qualitatively coal filter absorbs chlorine, and the mechanical filter – a rust. The average value inherent in each type of the filtering cartridge, the producer defines and specifies.

On average the new mechanical filter removes to 95% of impurities, and coal – 99,99%. But, in use, the cartridge is gradually hammered with the filtered particles and, as a result of pollution of the filtering element extent of purification of the mechanical filter raises to 100%, and coal – decreases to 50%.

If to apply it to comparison of two and three flask filters, it turns out that we can raise extent of purification if we have opportunity to put in a row two coal or two mechanical cartridges. They, undoubtedly, will increase water purification depth. Such it is possible only in three flask filter.

Economic effect
Here everything is simple. Two flask filter is much more favorable than three one because of smaller quantity of the cartridges established in it which will demand replacement over time.

If you are sure of quality of water – safely choose two flask filter. Besides the coal filter can carry out two functions – adsorption of chlorine and mechanical purification. However, it will cause more frequent change of the filtering module.
If water in your tap is polluted by a large amount of chlorine and organic chemistry, three flask filter will be an optimum option.
